Evolution of Hair

So, I am currently taking Cathy Zielske's Design Your Life class online. I really love this class. The focus is on design theory and concepts and it is broken down into weekly lessons. Each lesson is demonstrated via video, handout and assignments. We've worked through symmetry, asymmetry, repetition, white space and unity. This week's lesson deals with contrast/emphasis. I used one of this week's assignments to create a scrappy page documenting some of the many evolutions of my hair.

    So, whenever I think of your hair I think of being in ... somewhere... the infamous karaoke night. For whatever reason we found the bottle of Big Sexy Hair to be the funniest thing we had ever seen. I laugh every time I see that now. Of course I think that's also the night we watched Superstar and found that waaayyy funnier than it really is.

    OMG I get so giggly whenever I think back on our many AAPA adventures! I still laugh out loud if I happen to catch a commercial for Big Sexy Hair or glimpse that red, red bottle in the grocery store. Good times...
