Soul Restoration Blog Hop or Better Late Than Never

Hi friends! As you might have noticed I was a little late posting for the SR Blog Hop. So, so sorry...I had it set up to post automatically yesterday morning but clearly my poor blog was struggling with technical difficulties. Anyway I am posting now in the hopes that all might be forgiven.

I was completely blown away by my experiences during the Soul Restoration workshop. It was intense, amazing, heart wrenching, cathartic, uplifting and majorly empowering. I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone longing to regain "the real me." Another session of Soul Restoration 1 is beginning April 5th and Soul Restoration 2 will then start June 7th. I will definitely be moving on with SR 2. More sharing about the curriculum and registration information can be found here.

Please check out the Brave Girls - you won't be sorry!

In this post, I shared some of my initial thoughts about the Soul Restoration workshop and a tutorial on the construction of my 'soul house' journal cover. Today, I thought I'd share some of my favorite journaling pages.

Next up in the Blog Hop is Dawn Hueser - check out her blog for more Soul Restoration goodness.

  2. Jenn, Couldn't 'hop' until this evening, so...all forgiven!! (no shame, no blame, brave girl!)

I very much like the "LIES" printed over all those...lies. So graphic a way to tell the truth.

At first it looked like you used bleach to change your denim cover. Very clever use of the paint.

The bird stencil is beautiful, did you make it?

    BG hug to you.

  3. Thanks so much for visiting my blog, ladies!

Dawn - I love, love, love washi tape. I use it a lot in my art journaling and on my scrapbook pages. I probably need an intervention!

Rebecca - the LIES is probably my favorite page. It was intimidating to write out all the negative thoughts I have and my innermost insecurities, but it was so freeing to stencil over in bright red LIES. It sends a strong message and every time I look at that page I feel strong and brave.

I did not make the bird stencil (although I would love to harness that level of ability). It came in one of my monthly scrapbooking kits from Scarlet Lime.

    xoxo

  4. Hello Jenn,

First off, well done on your pages. I must agree with Rebecca about the "LIES" printed over all those...lies". That is genius!
Looking forward to seeing you in SR2.
I wasn't able to get prepared for this blog hop in time, however, I did make a promise to myself that I would come out and support all of my blogging Brave Girl friends :-)
